Odius and Samus

Odius landed on Aether as his frigate flew away. He walked around for a while and then he found Samus.
"Hello, Samus!"

Samus saw Odius and silently raised her arm cannon, before charging it and firing. "Die Space Pirate scum." Was her only words.

Odius dodges the shot with a roll. He takes cover and throws his gun over the rock.

"Wow. do you guys grow stupider or something?" She asked as she charged up another shot.

Damn! It ain't workin!
Odius yells in english
"Wait! I'm a Space Pirate General! But I work with the Federation as a Pirate Rebel!"
Odius throws his shield over.

Samus paused for a moment, but then began to fire on Odius once more, before stopping again. "Make it quick before I decided to repaint the area with you."

Odius peeks out from the rock.
"I was a part of the K-2L invasion, but I left after seeing the horrible things Ridley did... he even executed a mom in front of her child... I left and my batallion and I joined the GF. Look it up! Just don't kill me!"

Samus lowered her weapon. "I don't have to look it up. i was that child. Then he ate them. Every single one of them. And I watched. I believe you. You can come out now, I won't kill you."

Odius grabbed his arm cannon and shield, armed them, and hit Samus across the helmet.
"Don't shoot your superiors."
Odius chuckles then ducks, dodging the upcoming punch.

Samus did nothing but turned around and began to walk off, silent.

"Say, you probably want to kill Ridley as much as I do, right?"
Odius continued after Samus, wary of the Hunter as she may still want to shoot him.

Samus said in a cold voice. "Stop bugging me."

"How about you treat your superiors with a little more respect. Even if I am a Pirate, I'm on your side and that deserves respect."
Odius turned to find a group of Commandos. He was about to open fire when he noticed the Federation emblem on their armor.
"Hello, soldiers. Meet Samus Aran."
They ran in front of her and saluted her.
"I'll have you know that my men worship you. Basically, because you kill so many Space Pirates, they think of you as a goddess."

Samus blinked in surprise, before giving a quick salute. "Okay then." Samus said, watched the group. This is beginning to get creepy. She thought

"Let me explain, as I can tell you're a bit creeped. We were all pirates that were ordered to attack K-2L by Ridley. However, we actually have feelings and noticed for the first time what we were doing. The ones that didn't kill themselves out of pity and disgust at themselves became part of the solution with me. We're probably more loyal to the GF than the marines themselves."
Odius ordered the pirates to do some scouting up ahead, and with a leap, they were already on it.

Samus was disturbed. "So you're saying that, all of you, are the same Space Pirates who survived slaughtering everyone I knew and you guys hated it?"

"Maybe these guys yes. But I got off and just stood for a moment, gathered some troops, and left for the Federation. The others.... We call them minions.... Stayed and never noticed..."
One of the troopers steps back.
"I-I didn't kill anyone..."

Samus sighed. "Okay then. Don't worry, I won't shoot you. I don't shoot my allies, even if they are Space Pirates. What are you doing on Aether anyway?"

"I can't say I'm under orders, as I lead myself. I'm here with these troops in response to strange readings on the planet; ones similar to the ones taken before Zebes was inhabited by Minions. I believe that Minions are attempting to dig into this one as well. I'm here to kill them, and possibly gain a few more pirates."

She shrugged. "If the Minions want to mess up this planet, they will have to get though me first. Not after I worked so hard saving this planet."

"I also am wondering why the luminoth aren't- There we go."
Odius presses a finger to his ear-area, then pushes a button, sending the transmission to Samus.


This is U-Mos, sentinel of the Luminoth. We are under attack by some kind of... alien. They use arm blasters in one hand and scythes in the other. Requesting backup.

"Looks like the Luminoth need a hand. You'll need to go in first; If they see me they'll shoot on sight."
Odius heads for the nearest elevator.

Samus nodded and replied to the message This is Samus Aran. I'm on my way. They're Space Pirates. she went into an elevator and appeared in the midst of a battle. The Space Pirates looked at her, shouted something, then all attention and firepower was directed at her.

Odius came out shortly after, and the Pirates recognized him. In his own language, he said: "You will all pay for the monstrosities you are!!!" U-Mos almost shot him, but noticed he was killing others and shot at the baddies. He killed one, then Odius cut one's stomach open with his shield. Another one tries to slash him, and he brings up his shield. Now, the pirates were so confused they shot at Samus and each other...

Samus couldn't help but laugh. The Space Pirates couldn't tell their friends from enemies, but then a problem arose. Neither could she. "Umm, Odius? If you guys survive this, find some way to tell you guys apart from the enemies."

Odius set up his suit to emit a small red outline to all friendlies, along with his team.
"How's that?" A taccom display came up in Samus' visor.
Odius knew by heart his team mates, and didn't have to do anything.
"Gorgon, cover my left flank while I take them out from behind!"
A commando took action, obviously Gorgan, but was off guard and was impaled from behind. However, he turned around after and shot his killer in the mouth. He fell, dead. Odius' team was dying, and he would soon if he didn't take cover. Then, the final rebel was killed, leaving him the last one alive. He jumped out towards Samus.
