Dominant Environment: Wasted cities(was formerly a city planet), a large portion of which are flooded and covered in overgrowth, with intense storms happening every day, frozen wasteland in the most radiated areas, Phazon Corruption. There is an underground tunnel network going all along the planet that the inhabitants of the planet survive in.
Gravity: Standard
Sentients: A few hundred thousand humans/aliens/non-mutants. Over a million hostile mutations including Phazon beings known as "Dark Ones" by the inhabitants.
Technological Development: Computerized, but unable to develop new things. All technology is salvaged by inhabitants, who are unable to make ships.
Government: Phazon corruption, anarchy for the survivors. Different systems of government depending on territory.
Economy: Exploration
Significant Feature: Ruined cities all over, elaborate underground tunnel system that reaches across the whole planet, Leviathan
Cultural Quirks:Several people have been living underground for many decades, believing the creatures outside to be "demons".
Other: Most technology is salvaged and reworked into less advanced versions, especially Federation powered armor. The energy sources for them were quite limited. A lot of guns used are also different gun parts slapped together, with energy weapons being nearly nonexistent.

I'm updating Tawfret and reworking it to be a planet that was actually hit by a leviathan long before Metroid Prime. Some of it is really obviously inspired by the Metro series(well post apocalyptic fiction in general, but particularly Metro).

There is an underground tunnel network going all along the planet that the inhabitants of the planet survive in, and there is a surviving city occupied by civilians guarded by former Federation ship captain Robert Boreale's men known as City 25.
