Apocalypse vs Talon Locke

Talon watched as he tossed the ship at her. This was going to piss her bosses off with how much it'll cost to repair that thing, but that didn't matter at the moment. She fired her grappling hooks into her ship, sent a self destruct command to it, and flung it right back at her target after jumping into the air to avoid the attack, detonating on impact if it managed to hit.

"Brat! Will you just die already?!" The old man shouts, his plasma line cutting the ship in half as it flies towards him after being returned by the assassin, the two halves of the ship exploding behind him in a brilliant nova of blue and white. A immeasurably bright aurora of light behind him, the old man disappears into the flame and energy, becoming indistinguishable from the rest of the world as a sensory overload of color and EM radiation flow outwards from two points in the sky. From within the blazing cloud hundreds of tiny pointed projectiles fly out, some impacting into the surrounding buildings, others aimed for the ghostly assassin.

Talon smirked. "Not as easy to kill as you seem to think," she said as she materialized energy claws from her fingernails, slicing the projectiles out of the air. Some went past her defensive move, hitting her in the chest and left shoulder, causing her vision to shudder with each hit, warning lights flashing in her HUD. She ignored them, intending on finishing off her target. The girl jumped toward him, materializing her sniper rifle back into her hands, firing off a few shots before dismissing it and drawing her laser claws, green nova energy emitting from her fingernails. She slashed at her opponent.

"Fool." He says as the assassin charges him, dodging the bullets with only slight motion and pushing them to the side with the palm of his hand as they flew. Once she gets close to him and begins to slash at the old man, he holds out his hand, palm facing forward, and closes it as though gripping something. Any neural sensor array the assassin had, be it organic or bio-mechanical in nature, would be set ablaze with horrific pain and the feeling of something unnatural encroaching through her body, first locking up her arm to prevent any movement there (he would catch her by the arm as well, to prevent her from falling), and then spreading faster and faster through her body. "Should have dodged little one. When have I ever been known to use solid state matter projectiles that don't immediately explode?" He says, crushing tighter and tighter with his right hand as he supports her with his left. If the assassin had the ability to still think rationally whilst her body was being invaded from within and bent to an outsider's will, she might notice that the spreading feeling originates at the points where she was unable to fully block the projectiles and they had impacted her. By now, nearly her entire body would be invaded, and she would be completely incapable of any movement. "Poor thing. I'm almost sorry to do this, but you should have given up when I gave you the chance child." The old man says, before with a flick of his wrist and a snap of his fingers, the phazon in her system shoots partially out of her body as a thousand spikes before folding back over her and crushing her body inside and out simultaneously. He then throws the unstable newly formed phazon crystal high into the sky, right before it explodes violently, releasing a massive wave of flame, and an electromagnetic pulse that wipes out nearly all electronic systems in a ten mile radius (aside from his suit). "Enjoy oblivion!" he says calmly (though loudly) as he walks away.

Talon's body screamed as she felt the pain go through her body, the body activating pain inhibitors by a sort of reflex. A move used to resist interrogation, or even for intimidation purposes. Something that doesn't flinch while shot at would be a very intimidating opponent. In her last movement, she spoke some sort of code into her comm link.
She had anticipated her "death", and took off inside her drone a bit ago, making it to a Federation dropship, her body having a smaller backup of her brain. With an orbital laser strike set to strike right on her body's position on the ground on voice command. A large red light emitted from the sky, firing down toward the man with a strike powerful enough to obliterate the entire city.

"...You whore." Apocalypse says, looking up at the laser coming down to destroy the city. He crushes the robotic remains of his opponent before flying up towards the approaching death, right hand outstretched palm facing upwards towards the laser, Lucky him that orbital laser cannons used the light beam merely as a carrier for more traditional and powerful energies. If this were an actual LASER, he wouldn't be able to do what he was planning (not that it would be necessary in that situation). Flying straight to the bottom of the rapidly approaching cylinder of destruction, Apocalypse places both his palms on its base, siphoning the energy out as the sheer amount of it pushes him at breakneck speeds straight towards the ground and buildings below. This effort was tearing his body apart, both from energy overload and from the destructive force being forced against his flesh, but the former of those would be able to give him a chance to keep this from harming the civilians in the city below, so off with the safety limiters! Apocalypse focuses massive amounts of energy throughout his body, disabling his own limiters to allow him to blast against the laser with enough energy to stop its descent, of course, this did yet more damage to his body, but that wasn't important. The further his flesh deteriorates from energy overload and an overdose of deadly radiation up front, the less and less of the laser was there, flying down at the city. By the time it ended, both Apocalypse and the laser were deteriorated to next to nothing, the latter fading away in the atmosphere as it lost cohesion from lack of energy, the former falling to the ground barely anything but bones, phazon, and a protective layer of nano-bots. "Bitch." He says, his flesh slowly repairing with the assistance of Korangar and his internal bio-repair nanites. As his flesh gains the solidity for him to do so, Apocalypse stands up, feeling around on his body; He had basically shed decades of aging from that (likely due to absorbing so much energy at once), his hands find their way to his face, and find it clean-shaven once more. "Damn, I spent five hundred years on that beard." He says, disappointed. Looking towards the sky, he shouts "You'll have to do better than that brats!!" before moving on his way.

Talon was picked up by a dropship, brought to the Ebon Hawk and let out inside. The drone immediately went for the main computer to the ship, uploading her brain inside. Letting her mess around a bit in her purple hologram form. "That didn't go the best, but at least the guy's dead. I'll say the cover story should be a reactor explosion, or that we had to contain a deadly infection. Shit like that," she said. The scanners detected lifesigns yet again from the city, and she sighed. "Well I guess we tried. Get out of here before he blows up the planet or something trying to kill us." Then the ship flew off, leaving the fight a sort of draw.
