Character History:
Seretha comes from a darker timeline, one in which an EMMI had killed Samus after Quiet Robe's death. The EMMI was heavily damaged in the fight, extracting all of her DNA instead of just the Metroid sample, and in Raven Beak's arrogance he used this sample instead of analyzing it. The result was several clones of Samus, a scenario he was not prepared for, but still attempted to train into his Metroid army.

A few years into their training, the clones were still incapable of using the powers their Metroid DNA gave them, and he began to suspect they had none at all. In an impatient rage, he blasted one of them with a powerful ice attack to test their resistance, killing one of them instantly. This was not the smartest move, as it caused all of them to attack, overpowering him with sheer numbers.

After this event, they all found their way off-world, and Vela somehow ended up transported to the main universe.
