Metroid-style game recommendations

Just some recommendations I have for similar games to Metroid, whether in gameplay style, map design, or something else.

Doom 2016: I generally get a real Metroid feel from this game, from the map design feeling almost Metroid Fusion-y to the pickups dropping from all the enemies, to the rewards for exploration.

Castlevania: If it's after Symphony of the Night, it's basically fantasy Metroid with more RPG elements. Fun games.

Prey(2017): The general layout of the game is VERY Metroid. You're able to freely backtrack to go to places you weren't able to go before you got certain powers.

Axiom Verge is HEAVILY inspired by Metroid

Gaucamelee also is a MetroidVania that pokes fun at it with its Choozo Statues (Is that how they are spelled? I only know how Gaucamelee pronounces them)

I beat Shantae and he Pirates Curse not too long ago, It was like Metroid, Zelda, and Castlevania got thrown in a blender and made into one game. The map is also ripped right out of Symphony of the Night.

Oh yeah, Bloodstained too. Spiritual successor to Symphony of the Night, it's not out yet but it looks pretty good.
