showdown in a ghost town

Saturday 23rd may 2095
Earth,what makes it so special the scenery maybe or possibly the good looking people of the planet.NO that is all wrong,it's special because there are many mysterious that surround the planet,one in particular has caught my eye.Three dissapearances in just one town,no not a town a ghost town.During the wild west era the towns inhabitants dissapeared leaving no trace of survivors.during a failed raid on earth,space pirates landed near the town and set the place up as their forward base...Unluckily for them they vanished as well except for their ship which remains there to this very day.2 days later a whole film crew vanished just after the san andreas earthquake,I was beggining to feel that an unknown force killed the film crew which led me to investigate that town which had a very scary name known as slaughter gulch,this concludes my log entry and will speak again once i get out of this town alive,What the devil is that! NO KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME NOOAAARGH!.

The drop pod launched from the hangar of Skykilla and descended to earth.The Inquistor sat on the seat and attached the communications watch and prepared for the landing."landing in two minutes prepare for landing"Said the voice over box in the drop pod."well looks like we will be in this ghost town for a while since i have to solve three disappearances"."landing in 5 seconds".the drop pod landed and the door opened.The Inquisitor rolled out of the door and hit a signpost.He was layed out across the floor knocked out.

"So... mission. Feel like chasing it?" Shasta asked the remaining sentient masses floating in the cabin; Thoth was charging ((Yah, that makes him sound like a cell phone, but that's also the best way for a robot to get power in space, IMO)), thus his power channel was only open on one end, a precaution of many original products of space pirate origin, leaving Cliodna on an SR388 channel, and Akiba, but Shasta imagined him being asleep at that moment, oddly. Shasta sighed, wrote a note into a floppy, then left it out.

A few minutes left and he'll be able to take a shell that may last him part of the way down to where some events that happened in a small area in North America, near a city called San Andreas. The federation also released a journal entry recorded by somebody investigating Slaughter Gulch, near the deaths. It took about ninety minutes to orbit Earth, so it was possible Thoth would finish charging way on the other side of Earth. Shasta laughed, realising that he couldn't change that. He took the shell to regulate pressure and insulate heat until he was a safe level to skydive, old fashioned way.

The Inquisitor sat up,He looked out across the horizon and saw a small cowboy town on the edge of a deep ravine."hmm must be the san andreas fault and whats this...Slaughter Gulch this is the place"said the Inquisitor.He noticed that someone was waving to him on the other side of the Ravine in the town.He ran across the bridge connecting the town over the ridge and saw the man still waving beckoning the inquisitor to come closer.The inquisitor stopped on the middle of the bridge and waved back at the man who pulled out an odd looking candle and lit it with a matchstick.He then threw the candle at the Inquisitor who gazed in horror as the man dissapeared into the ground and with a maniacal laugh he said"Welcome to slaughter Gulch enjoy your stay,youre going to be here for a while,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha".The Inquisitor picked up and stared at the candle which exploded throwing the inquisitor off his feet and onto the rocky ground."Damn I hate Dynamite their just as bad as space pirate mines,well looks like the bridge is out,better look around".The Inquisitor moved forwards and found himself between two odd looking people and also found himself being shot at."better hide"Thought the Inquisitor and hid inside the saloon and waited for them to pass by.
