Outbreak on Treceran 2.0

The Elexia flew from Tawfret toward its destination in autopilot, getting close to Treceran. Talon got up from the bed she was sharing with Silas, putting her suit back on. "Sounds like we're getting close," she said. "What did you want me to bring you here for again?" he asked. "I'm taking my shit back," she said. Talon learned how to speak galactic basic from Arcturus, and he wasn't exactly the "cleanest" speaker.
"I don't know what the hell you're talkin' about but damn it must be important," Silas said. He got up, getting dressed too before walking over to the cockpit. There wasn't quite a relationship thing going on between them, rather Felirians are extremely...casual, I'll say. Not that Silas is complaining. He wasn't complaining at all.
Talon put her holster on and sheathed her sword on her back, putting her rather large energy pistol in the holster while strapping her bow to her back. "Ain't this a civilian world? You look about ready to blow it the hell up," he said. "If necessary, I will. I'm getting my shit back." Silas shrugged. "Long as I'm not on it when you do."

The ship landed, docking at a spaceport, with the two stepping out. Silas was going to go hang out at the nearby cantina while Talon does her search.

"Hold on right here stranger, I just gotta refuel." the pilot says to me, stepping out of the ship after touching down at some kind of refueling station on the planet. There's only one other ship, and it looks kind of clunky, like it just got off a battlefield. Well, in this universe, who knows. That could be exactly what happened. Hmm, actually, it looks kind of interesting, I think I'll check it out. No reason to do what mister pilot man says after all, even if he is hunky.
(The Shape shifted X-Parasite steps out of the ship, walking over to the vessel it referred to as "Clunky", and attempts to find the pilot of said ship.)

(So, yeah. "Rose"'s story starts the same...sorry for not putting any real effort into the first post.)

Talon looked at the wrist computer she had on her...wrist. Figuring out where the lab was based on data left in the logs on Tawfret. It was somewhere far away from here, but she had time. Unfortunately she couldn't just get dropped off where she needed to be. The pilot of the ship already wandered off toward the cantina, unfortunately considering he'd probably want to meet the person walking up to Talon. Two girls in the same day would've been something he'd talk about for a while. Talon was too focused on figuring out where to go, though she did smell the person walking up to her. Not in a negative way, Felirians just had good senses.

Silas was already on his third drink in the cantina, and was busy playing some strange local card game.

"Huh. Catgirl then. Maybe a bit too much cat in the cat/girl ratio, but she seems...pretty I think? I'm not that good at judging with all the fur. *Sigh* And here I was hoping...well, at least I still have mister hunky" Thinks the strange woman. "Well, I may as well strike up a conversation while I wait for my ride to finish refueling. With that clunker, it can't take less than an hour, and he seems preoccupied with that guy over there. Huh, didn't take him for Bi, kinda weird." As she walks over to the interesting looking cat-lady, the unnamed lass happens to look over at the man who had given her a ride (and gotten one in return) to this strange, yet beautiful, planet. He looked to be locked in embrace with another man, prompting an instant of confusion from the woman before she brushes it off and continues on her way to the cat-like lady.

(Funnily, I didn't remember that she went to see the "contents" of the other ship. I was thinking she was just taking a step out to explore. oops)

Talon looked up from the wrist computer and saw what looked like a nice looking woman walking up to her. Her ears twitching a bit in interest. "Well hey there," she said, her tail swaying behind her. "Do you...happen to know where a Feder...ation, I think the word is, lab might be?"

Taken aback by the sudden unexpected question, the woman can only respond "Huh?", while her whole body jerks back a bit, and her eyes widen slightly. It's obvious she was unprepared for the question. It doesn't take long however, before she rights herself, placing one hand on her hip, and the other on her chin (her index finger just barely brushing her lower lip as she does). "Well, I know of a few, I suppose. Why are you looking for Federation Labs? They aren't exactly open to the public." "Oh god, this got so weird! I was expecting something interesting, but not...THIS! ShiiiIIT! How am I supposed to deal with this?!"

Talon was unaware of how public anything Federation was. Her only encounter with the Federation was when she saved Silas's ass from a RAIT camp. Wasn't exactly pleasant. "They have my stuff. I want it back," she said. She really did seem like her only plan was walking in, grabbing it, and walking out. She was simple. They thought her race was dead so stealing her armor to study would be just fine, so she wanted to find them and show them that was not satisfactory behavior.

"O-oh...Uhhh. I see. Um...Well, unfortunately, I'm not really aware of where they may have your stuff, but I imagine you could, like...requisition it or something? Or...Did they actually...STEAL from you?" The woman's whole demeanor oozed with confusion, doubt, and continuously emanated an air of "WTF?!". She was obviously not able to accommodate, and her suspicion was rather self-evident. She was aware of the fact that the Federation had some level of corruption (like any government), and that it would eventually blossom into a hideous flower of oppression and terror that rivals the Space Pirates, but at this point in time, they should be rather tame, shouldn't they? "U-uummm." As she begins to speak, her voice wavers oppressively, showing just how hard it is to get the words out "I'm not really sure that you should be HERE though. I don't know of any Federation outposts on this planet, miss. Well, not that there COULDN'T be one, but I've never heard of them being this far out." She tells the Cat-woman.

Not far off, a scream resounds through the air as the man ""Rose"" had begun to refer to as "Mr. Hunky" has his throat violently ripped out by the man ""Rose"" saw him "embracing". His struggles had finally been outdone when several more men, women, and even children rushed and held him down. The large group began gnawing on his flesh, as yet oblivious to the two ladies talking to one another.

Talon shook her head. "From reading the logs, they took my suit thinking it was some ancient relic of a dead race. We weren't exactly clear about surviving...whatever happened to my world. They say they took it to a lab on Treceran, so that's where I had my friend here take me," she said. She then noticed he wandered off. She swore in some unknown language. "Where did he go?"


Silas was having a good time winning a good amount of money in the games, when one of the players ended up eating another one's face off, a shambling crowd gathering inside. "Whoa hey there, I know y'all ain't exactly the best losers but that ain't a way to-," one of them charged him and he immediately pulled his gun. A rather large, revolver-like energy blaster. The same type he gave to Talon a few years back. He blew the thing's head clean off, taking out several more of them as he fanned the back of the gun, the cylinder battery rotating with each shot, the ones not in the "chamber" cooling off and recharging in while they're cycled out, bolting out of the tavern with his newly won money and charging past a group of them unharmed, running toward his ship.

(umm...For now, I'm not really sure on how to respond to that, and I'm starting to think maybe we should wait [at least a bit] to see if Tarrix wants to join, and let him start up if he does. Thoughts?)

Morgan had been flying his ship for several days now, the power was low in it, most of the defenses were off to conserve energy. Seeing a spaceport not far from where he was, he turned the autopilot to it, hoping could repair and fuel up his ship. He had just gotten paid for doing several bounties, so money was not an issue for him.

Landing on the planet, he instantly got out of his ship and looked over to one of the workers, throwing his thumb back to point to his ship. "Repairs and refueling, that's it." He left before the man could even answer him.

Going through the place, he kept his helmet on, knowing that some people might not like the idea of a large humanoid dragon going through here. Seeing someone running out of the corner of his eye, he could only guess it was someone he would later be dealing with for running out with casino money. His attention was soon brought towards a shambling man, curious as to what he wanted. As the man got closer, Morgan could see something was off, was this man drunk?

"Listen, buddy, I don't have any money for you to kill yourself with," Morgan said as he watched the man come towards him. As the man continued to get closer, Morgan lunged back as he saw that the man went to bite his arm. Grabbing the man by the throat, Morgan tossed him into a wall, casually walking away thinking the local law enforcement could handle a drunk with a biting problem.

(Only one important detail missing: Where'd he land? Nearby to our characters? Somewhere unmentioned? I need details man! DETAILS!. ...That's supposed to be funny.)

(Either you just put in the casino reference, or I completely missed it. Sorry for wasting everyone's time if it was the latter. Though, if it was, I would have quite liked it for you to inform me instead of ignoring.)

""Rose"" looks to the side, her eyes alighting on the casino, or more specifically, the man running out of the casino right at the nearby ship who the cat-woman had exited from. She points at him and says "That wouldn't happen to be him would it?" After noticing the man, her attention ends up being pulled behind him, to the large group of people who didn't look to be in the best of condition...and by that, one would mean that they all looked like they had been half eaten. "Oh shit. Zombies. ...FUCKING ZOMBIES?!" She shouts loudly, taking a step back, her whole body pulling away from the sight. At first, she appears shocked and horrified, but slowly, ever so slowly..."Hehehehe..PuhahaHAHAHAHHAAAA!!" She starts to laugh. As she holds onto her face with her right hand, she laughs madly, capturing the attention of the group of walking corpses gnawing on "Mr. Hunky", as well as drawing the eyes of many of the cadavers chasing down the man she presumed to be the cat-woman's friend. "This...is, just, FUCKING, GREAT!" She shouts, her whole body bending halfway forward, her arms out to her sides, palms upwards with fingers splayed and half-curled, a look of manic joy spread across her face. Whatever the reason, this event DEFINITELY exited her.

[Only days later would she look back, thinking of all the lives lost to the unknown pathogen, and feel some regret that she had expressed joy at the deaths of others to such a degree.]

"I don't know what the HELL's goin' on but we're getting outta here," Silas said. "Out of the question, I don't have my suit back," Talon said. "Alright then girl you're on your own, I like being alive, later!" he yelled out as he got into the ship, shooting two more zombies that managed to climb in before immediately taking off.

"Wait wha-Oh you bitch!" Talon growled as her ride flew off, leaving her stuck here. She pulled her own pistol out and took out four of the shamblers.
