Will Vs. Makarov

Makarov comes to the near center of the arena and sees his opponent. He scoffs and says, "So I'm against a federation dog eh? Well you better say your prayers dog, cause I won't show any mercy."

Will approached his opponent, hefting his assault rifle up. He looked at the man's brown armor, his helmet, his shield, his rifle. Will grunted and cracked his neck raising the assault rifle attached his right arm's armor.

"Well bring it than, tough guy."

"Well folks, we have ourselves another match-up! We have the cold blooded bounty hunter, Makarov! And then we have the federation corporal, William! Who will be the victor, we shall soon see! Let's get this match started! Fighters... GOOOOOOO!" says the announcer.

Makarov starts strafing to his right side, keeping the same distance from his opponent, shooting his nova beam full auto with fairly decent accuracy.

Will Ducked, a shot clipping his shoulder plate, he rolled to the side to avoid the shots. He hid behind a rock, took a grenade off of his belt, and tossed it over to where the shots were coming from. Than, using it as a distraction, as he knew no bounty hunter would actually be stupid enough to let themselves get hit by a grenade, he spun out of cover and let loose a volley of full auto fire.

(OOC: Do the energy grenades stick to surfaces? If they do, I can make an edit to the character profile for that.)

((I think energy grenades are just metal balls that explode with the same type of energy as Samus' energy beam. So probably no sticking))

Makarov sees the incoming grenade and moves in and uses his shield to hit it away before exploding. He sees Will come out behind the rock firing and he uses his shield to cover his unarmored parts on his legs, the bullets just deflecting off his phazite plating. Then he aims and fires an accurate 3 round burst of his phazite tipped rounds at Will.

one of the rounds hits his shoulder plate, the phaazite tip easily piercing through his armor and hitting his shoulder underneath,

"GAH!"

Will yelled back sliding back into cover. He panted heavily and waited.

Makarov smirks as he switches to his x-ray visor and sees Will through the rock. With his phazite rounds it should pierce the rock enough to still deal some damage. He takes aim at Will through the rock, aiming more so at his spine and fires a 3 round burst of his phazite tipped rounds.

Will breathed heavily, trying to calm himself a bit. When suddenly there was a three round burst. The first round went a quarter of the way through the rock, the next one got an additional two quarters through, and than the third pierced all the way through, hitting the armor on Will's back hard, but not hard enough to pierce, luckily. Will was pushed forward from the shot with a dent in his back plating. He grunted and rolled back to cover, making sure to keep an ear open for the shots, as well as the hunter's foot-steps, avoiding the newly made hole.

Will pulled out an energy grenade and set it to explode on impact, he tossed it and than quickly ran from his cover, diving for a different rock this time.

Makarov could see him take the grenade and strafed to the left side before it landed, giving him plenty of space between him and the grenade. Then he moves until he believes one of his legs is at a thinner spot in the rock. He aims his rifle at his left leg (if that's the one that he comes closer to since he was moving to the left), and fires two shots of his phazite rounds.

(OOC: Thx. Since he has limited ammunition, I gotta do this or I'd forget how much ammo he's got left.)

There was a sudden smash, rock broke, and his assault rifle now has a large hole in it. He kept his assault behind him, and he must have seen his arm, thinking it was his leg. Will examined his shot assault rifle. Thankfully the round didn't hit his arm inside, but the firing mechanisms were hit. The gun itself is all but useless, but it did still have one more surprise left in it.

"Hey!"

Will called out.

"How about we fight this close up, huh? Give the crowd something to cheer for aside from a firefight!"

Makarov chuckles and says, "Sure, if you leave your rifle where it is. Unless... I hit it by mistake." and he switches back to his combat visor and puts his rifle on his back. Then he unsheathes his dagger, tosses it in the air and catches it so the blade is below his hand and he holds his arm out where he caught the blade.

Will growled and popped out of cover charging towards the man, his rather broken rifle still attached to his arm. He moved forward like he's going to tackle the man.

Makarov got into a battle stance and was ready to maneuver when Will got close enough.

(OOC: Have you forgotten about this one?)

(sorry, life's been hectic, kind of hard to get into the roleplaying mindset with my character sometimes. i'll post either tonight or tomorrow)

Will kept charging forward, raising his assault rifle and swinging it like a mace at his opponent in a horizontal strike in an attempt to hit him across the face.

Makarov smirks as he spins around the attack and thrusts his blade at Will with snake like reflexes. And when he thrusts, the energy blade part of it cracks to life, extending the reach of it.
