Taking the fight to the pirates... IN SPACE (Post Corruption)

Federation Mission Briefing

1. Defeat the pirate orbital defenses
   
2. Break through to the pirate homeworld
   
3. Bombard the pirate facility and destroy it

Mission Information
Both sides will have 2 battleships, 4 frigates, 1 carrier, and many many fighters, unless a character joining a side has a battleship or some sort of flag ship that's larger than a fighter. There will be a limit to two people joining each side. (Rildok will be one of the ones for the pirates)
Let the carnage commence!

Rildok warps into the pirate homeworld orbit. He is stopped by pirate fighters to clarify who he was. After clarification, he pulls up to one of the battleships and lands. There he meets up with the crew and speaks with the captain. After a small chat, he leaves the battleship and pulls alongside it, waiting for the enemy to approach.

The Fallen Angel swooped into the scene, ready to wreak havoc. Thoth trailed behind him with the Chordate.

"Close the channel." Shasta motioned to Thoth. As soon as there was no output Shasta continued. "He's done his service. We don't need him impeding our forces. Shoot him down."

The Chordate swooped in front of it, pointing at the engines.

"I thought you might do this! That's what I get for getting you into the battle!"

"I suppose it is." Thoth replied. A large router was in place in the ship. The GFS Kappa was currently in orbit of Elysia, as well as every other unit. Thoth channeled into the federation, and knew that after the battle, they would try to catch them. Which is why they gave the pirates the Federation equipment, including the positioning system. The downside, of course was that the pirates had Aurora technology.

((Fallen Angel will be pretty neutral. He's just there to take down fighters on either side. Is that OK? Or do you just mean 2 people per side per person?))

Thoth boarded the Olympus, signaling for Shasta to leave. "Remember, if they don't comply, send the self destruct signal. Everything is on the Kappa. We can't afford to have any information leaked."

"Gotcha. Good hunting!" ((That phrase, good hunting, is so awesome. I use it IRL all the time. People just stare. :(razz): ))

Shasta flew away, and Thoth stepped to speak with the officials.

(OOC: It's post Corruption, which I just changed the topic name to identify that. And it is two characters per side. And a neutral one to take out both sides is fine I guess. Just twice as many things to deal with then. And if the other Federation slot isn't filled up, the Federation will be getting another battleship manned by Captain James Charon.)

The Megathron jumps into Elysian space, close by the fleet awaiting it's jump to the space pirate homeworld. "This is Captain James Charon and the Megathron reporting in." says James to the fleet.

"NO! FUCK! YOU'VE GOT TO LISTEN TO ME!" Shasta was dragged to a cell. "I'm innocent!"

He leaned against the cell. "You know you should probably interrupt outgoing wireless signals from prisoners."

"What?"

"Nothing."

(OOC: Could you possibly make a character that would be with the space pirates Pup? I don't want to have to be most in control of this RP by filling up 3 of the 4 slots.)

((I would like to point out that I do have a non-goodguy character... And Ridley. Oh, right. Ridley. One sec))

Ridley flew in, dying and coming back to life in doing so. Shasta sighed in realization of his suit. Several unsuited inmates and guards fell to the ground around him as he took off through the busted wall of the cell until he found one that got shattered. He could see more fire, but the eery silence caused by the vacuum disturbed him, despite the action around him. The cell Shasta was in exlpoded, and he say a pair of large yellow eyes, and the silhouette of Ridley's body. He ran off, signaling the Chordate, as well.

(OOC: Oh yeah... I forgot about him. Now Ridley is in Elysian space with the federation fleet?)

((I thought we were orbiting the Pirate Homeworld... @_@ I need to read the missions better. And by the way, the big ship is orbiting elysia, the regular sized one is wherever the federation ship is))

(OOC: So Shasta was is pirate space and Thoth was too until he went off to the federation? I'm very confused about this... Could you point out who was where when what happened?)

((Shasta jumps off the chordate to negotiate the federation. The federation locks him away as fast as possible, forgetting to cut off outside connections, and Ridley flies into the ship at random. Shasta escapes, and calls Thoth, and they go away. ZOOM!))

(OOC: So will Ridley be the last character in this RP then?)

((I don't see why we need a limit... I mean it's just the two of us... We should wait for Aran and Xantospoc to sign on...))

(OOC: Aran has been gone for quite some time, even Doc has been too. I wonder what happened to them. But sure, I'll wait a little longer.)

"THE FEDERATION WILL DIE!", TIO roared as he piloted his ship upside-down

Captain James Charon speaks over the coms to the fleet, "Alright, I think we're all gathered to assault the pirate homeworld. Is everybody ready to go?"

Shasta turned and shot an engine off the Olympus.

"I thought you were on the Federation's side!"

"I am. Does that make me not hate them? No."

"Agent I-82B is ready to obey to any order from his superior, commander!", Xanny replied

"Alright then, let's go!" says James over the intercoms. With that the Megathron and the other ships moved forward and jumped into pirate space, out of firing reach from the pirate fleet. The pirate fleet responded by moving forward, pirate fighters moving in much faster. Rildok primed his engines and moved out to meet the Federation fleet. "Welcome Federation scum, to your doom." he says in his scary voice.

Let the battle commence!

Agnte I.82B rammed to pieces the first one...

"I am not killing, I'm just destroying their ship :(awesome): !", he said

Rildok sped up to one of the frigates, dodging fire from the ship's cannons and fighter's attacks. He set his cannons to mortar mode and charged his cannons. A couple of fighters were on his tail, firing all they had at him. Rildok's rear laser turrets took out any missiles that really didn't need shooting since his radar jammer scrambled their missile guidance systems, while he maneuvered around the laser fire. Then the turrets fired upon the fighters and took them out, one ramming into another and exploding while the shrapnel from that explosion rips through the last one. Rildok aimed for the main hull of one of the frigates and fired. The mortar shots arced down to the hull and a big dark matter explosion hits the frigate on target. The blast rips through the hull and pieces of it fly out. The frigate wasn't down, but it was severely damaged.

From the view of the frigate's bridge it was a little something like this.

"Sir, our radar has gone haywire. And by the looks of it there's an enemy fighter coming our way. He just took out 3 of our fighters. And what's he doing? He's charging an attack! Is he mad? A fighter can't do significant damage to us, right?" says one of the people in the bridge. They see the ship fire two dark balls of energy up and are arcing towards the hull. The captain says, "Brace for impact." Then a big boom is heard while the ship shakes profusely. "What the hell was that?" says the same person from before. "I don't know, but if he fires another one of those at the same point, we're done for." says the captain.
