Character Name: "Harmony of Soul and Body" (when the Pirates who discovered this being were first examining him/her/it, they discovered that it was similar in nature to a "Soul" but had no physical form(body) of its own, instead its energy seemed to perform both roles, leading to this descriptor. In the earliest portions of their presence among the pirates, they possessed no ability to understand the unique Pirate language (or any language, for that matter, aside from the strange silent language it seemed to "speak" at first), this lead to them misinterpretting the words used to describe it as a name) Chris Gen-Te (Originally a jumble of sounds that their untrained senses were unable to discern and decypher)
race: Dengoroth, a race of pure true energy beings tied intrinsicly to the fabric of reality. They are fundamental beings of realitivistic (I know it's not a real word, I don't have one for this, and so I use this word.) potential, and being tied in to the energy network that comprises the universe, they can manipulate the underlying energy patterns that govern the shape of reality, their only limits to this being their willpower (the basic mental necessity to overcome the current form of reality and apply their newly realized ideal to the threads of the energy fabric reality is composed of) (I had a much better description of them a bit ago, but most of it was lost when I sat down, which actually kind of makes sense in the end of things.)
Age: Incalculable, no records or memories of this entity exist from before the time of its descovery by the group of space pirates who found it floating in space, nothing more than a skin shell over emptiness, but it somehow possessed will and the capacity for autonomous locomotion. This occured roughly 19 years and 285 days prior to the beginning of Samus Aran's so called "Zero Mission" on planet Zebes.
Gender: Fundamentally genderless, Dengoroth have no sexual characteristics by nature (Being as they are pure energy), this one does not identify as any one gender, instead assuming gender-roles based on its current form.
Height: Most frequently assumes a height somewhere between six feet and one inch, and six feet and seven inches, but theoretically could occupy any sized corporeal shell.
Weight: At 6'7", its bare corporeal shell, only as thick as skin, weighs less than three pounds
Known Languages: Galactic Standard, Space Pirate (Unique), Space pirate (General), Space pirate (Utragian sub-language), Fundamental (A "language" all Dengoroth instinctively know and speak before learning the concept of regular language, it is a language made up of raw energy release, and only those with a special connection to the energy fabric of reality can understand it (Which usually means another Dengoroth))
Appearance: Metaphysical in nature, and incomprehensible to creatures of any material existance. Its corporeal shells take on any form it imagines, but it most typically shows itself as a young humanoid masculine subject, with light toning reminiscent of one who frequently engages in water-based activities (thinner, more elongated muscle structure, lending to a smaller frame than other forms of excercise), blue or black eyes, and 24' to 36' long sandy blond hair (Occasionally dabbling in non-human natural colors). In recent years (Post-Darkened World RP), has more(most) frequently shown itself as a young adult humanoid subject of the feminine variety, similarly built to the masculine form albeit with a more trained feeling (as though put through physical training for years to perfect the body's build and capabilities. Based on Samus, as she was the first human female this creature encountered/saw), with perky upper C-cup Breasts, a toned-yet-pleasantly-squeezable backside, green/golden-yellow/blood-red/pink-purple/deep-purple eyes, and 60 inches of beautiful wavey fiery red hair(disolving to a molten gold-yellow near the ends. I'm being serious with the "Fiery" description), alternatively kept in an upper ponytail, tight braid, or left straight and flowing. Skeletal structure for both is based on a combination of professional athletes (A wide variety sample group) and highly trained well bodied military soldiers (Including Samus), designed to give the best physical structure aesthetically.
Faction/Organization: Galactic Federation (Primarily), has functioned in all groups of the military, including the federation police, the federation marines, and the army (as a part of platoon 06), during and for a time after the phazon incident, they functioned as a PED trooper (and still possess the technology built into their suit)
Alignment: True Neutral
Personality: Develops and acts on their personality whilst constantly adapting it to surroundings and situations, their personality is more fluid than water. They tend to display mostly (and more) masculine traits whilst "Male", and mostly(and more) feminine traits while "Female".
Likes: Has an uncanny affection for metroids of most varieties, in spite of the metroid's potential to actually kill them. Enjoys music, games, spar fighting (combat with only the intent to show off ones power and gauge the other's, then compare the two, without the intent to end one side with death),
Dislikes:
energies and control: pairs: dark/light energy. control L/D :with light energy he is able to create light at will in a 5 mile radius, with dark energy he is able to suck the light out of the surrounding area up to the degree of pitch blackness and the area spoken of is 1 mile
kill/revivification energy. control K/R: with kill energy he is able to make a projectile attack that goes in a continuous line for about 10 meters it is called "demon wave" revivification energy is able to bring a living thing that has died back to life
meteo/geo. control M/G: using geo energy he can control the earth around him for up to 10 minutes, and meteo energy is able to create an everlasting lightning-storm in a 30 meter radius.
wound/heal. control W/H:with heal energy he can heal the wounds of a person that could cause death.used in conjunction with revivification energy to restore life to those who have died. wound energy is capable of causing life threatening bodily damage under the skin and undetectably.
singular energies: soul energy.control soul energy: with soul energy he is able to manifest a weightless spiraling cone shaped weapon that is 6 ft long 10 in wide at the base and it shrinks in that regard until at the tip it is only a nanometer wide, he is also able to make a small ball of this energy that rapidly compresses and then expands in an explosion much like a super nova but not as big or powerful it also has no heat energy at all (absolute zero for about the ten seconds of it's explosion)
(It should be noted that the various abilities made note of are generalizations, and these are the specialized energies that Gen-te has control of, all dengoroths have access to heat and electrical energy, so those are available, just seldom used, and their abilities are not so specialized that these are the only things they can do)
neutral energy. control neutral energy: able to turn into matter at the will of the user, but it is permanent and this energy is also a type that can be worn out but will build back up, so he has to use it sparingly.
equipment: his jumpsuits, it's powersuit and anything he makes with neutral energy and keeps.
character history:no file prior to adoption. he was adopted by space pirates from a planet where they had changed, no longer were they hateful but mostly peaceful except for the odd skirmish and more regular arena battles (for entertainment and not to the death) they were split into clans and tribes (clans that shared similar rituals and traditions)

special abilities:able to control gravity
weaponry: two plasma pistols on either leg and a plasma rifle on the back with standard plasma mode, wave mode(for passing through walls), nova mode (mimicking the nova beam used by the mining cannons on the pirate homeworld albeit highly compressed), and a hyper mode (fires shots as powerful as the hyper beam from super metroid but it overheats after 10 shots and needs a 2 hour cooling period) along with a shoulder mounted cannon, a retractable arm cannon and a PED trooper removable arm cannon.
shielding:hazard shield, phazon shield, heat shielding, and gravity shielding (like the type used by the gravity suit)

description: forms a weak clone and fights back to back using an energy scythe used by the pirates that has extremely enhanced length and switches one fires a cannon the other swings the scythe, when the scythe swinging one finishes his swing the two switch tactics to use the others: the one who swung starts shooting and the old shooter starts a swing of the scythe.

Well I can say this does not lack originality. Um, could you better organize the types of energies? Like put them under the likes/dislikes part and hit enter after each type of energy and its description.

(entered about 10-20 minutes after original(part above)) I am sorry but I just realized what you were asking and unfortunately I can not do that because he does not like any one more than any other same with dislike. I apologize but I have reorganized it slightly already and I hope that it is to your liking.

For the revival thing, is the thing or person alive until they die again or for a period of time?

until they die, but only with people he has a strong reason to have them alive. that being said he could use it to torture someone. if he wanted.

So basically it's more like necromancy except they live as if they never died? Does he need the body to do so?

yes.

How long would it take and how much concentration would be needed?

about an hour and all of his concentration would be needed at the strength level he will be at for the duration of this forum (he will not take more than a second in my mind but in other places if they have other people involved in the real world then it will take varying times but it is one hour in here)

If his concentration is broken, does he have to start all over? Sorry about all the questions.

no the process is to draw the soul back to the body not heal the wounds and give them consciousness again, that would only make a hollow puppet in comparison to the original. if his concentration is broken the progress is still there but he would have to get back on it right away or the progress would start to be lost because his force that is puling the soul back would not be there and the soul would drift back to the place it was at before the process began.

So if they had a huge gash in their side, that would still be there when the person is revived?

yes but he could heal it before or after the resurrection or ceremony used to resurrect the person.

So this is mostly intended to be used out of combat right?

yeah, although it can be used in battle there would have to be someone constantly keeping him safe and he would have to block out all things from the outside.

on a slightly unrelated note his skin is just a shell that he wears on top of his real body (kind of like armor or clothing) and he can abandon it at any time. his real body is nothing but energy so he does not die from normal weapons (ones made out of matter) and his skin acts as a shield against beam weapons (although if he is struck in the same place twice by a beam weapon he will take damage).

also (and sorry about this but I really want to know) is "A vacation on a paradise of Light" open for people to join now or is it not allowed anymore because as far as I can tell anyone is allowed to join it at any time please respond.

One last question, I think. Are there any bonuses the revived characters get after being revived?

Um, as far as I know it's open. Hasn't had activity for a long time.

no there are no bonuses unless you consider a second chance at living a bonus (I do)
