To Understand An Hunter

"Okay he's dead!"
Houston watched the green blood spill everywhere and figured it out.
"He regenerates! He's immortal..."
Houston grabs him and snaps his neck. It grows back into place.
"See?"

Samus picked up some charcol and wrote 'I AM AN IDIOT HEAR ME ROAR!' On the Pirate's red shirt and shrugged. "That was random, but refreshing."

"I thought the pirates wore armor, not flipping red shirts..."
Houston chuckles and looks to Samus.
"We should leave now, right? Or are we gonna go kill a dragon?"

"I'm not sure. I'm going to stay a little longer." She began to walk off as her suit disappeared. "Maybe clean things up a bit." Her voice was quieter than usual. "You can go along if you want."

Houston grins.
"I wonder how much his tail is worth?"
He scans the area, and then heads off in Ridley's direction.

"Should we save him?", A pirate asked his companion looking at the unconscious TIO
"Yes, even idiots have rights to live, especially considering his talent", the other said carrying TIO's body to their ship as they were withdrawing.

A young marine was walking on the colony. He was wearing a full armor, despite it was full of scars, with the exception of the helmet, maybe because it was too damaged. From his reaction to sunlight and unnaturally pale skin, which contrasted his black eyes and red hair, it could be understood that he wears armor pretty often.
He glanced at Samus who was looking again at the graves of her parent.
With 3 hesitating steps and a shaking voice, he asked the Huntress: "Er... Miss Aran?"

((Yes, he's Xanny without his normal suit, disguised as a Marine. As noboy around ever saw him armorless, nobody will recognize him, okay?))

Thoth got ready to eliminate the body of Ridley after Houston harvested all of the valuables... eww. Then he recognised the heat signature of I-82B coming from a nearby marine. He decided not to tell anybody.

Samus looked at him, her eyes washed over with sadness. "Yes?" She asked softly, before looking back at the grave.

Thoth realized what was going on and quietly climbed down, looking at the grave as well.

"Thoth? What are you doing here?" Samus asked, standing up.

"I don't know. Been here for a while. Jumped off Ridley onto buildings. Had to rest for a while. Eventually came back down here. Aaaaand here I am now." Thoth did not wish to upset Samus farther, so spoke in a rather careful tone.

Houston arrives with Ridley's blood all over him and the tail and hands slung over his shoulder, himlugging them along. He stops by the grave and gives a salute, before standing in quiet.

Thoth stood, quietly, too. Not wanting to ruin the moment, he didn't break off to destroy the fallen Ridley, but instead stayed with the group and decided to destroy Ridley's body later. The federation wouldn't kill him for a moment of silence for someone important to a friend, fallen.

Houston quietly set down the body parts and stood in silence, his helmet off. The federation honored its heroes, especially fallen ones. Both of them, he knew, were important to the federation, as they saved Samus in their own way.

For the first time in his life, Thoth, despite his ability to feel emotion, felt human, looking at the grave of two people braver than the people who were successful and had lived. He bowed his head, feeling some sympathy for them and Samus.

"Damn those Space Pirates." Samus murmured, images of her parents' deaths flashing though her mind. "Damn them all."

The marine stood silent as the AU and the hunter Houston were talkin, and took something from his bag. He handed Samus three bunches of flower.
"Do not misinterpret it as an attempt of flirting, for I, aside from professional respect, feel nothing for her. Those are foe both you and your parents... all of you are great heroes, and we must respect you! They are present both by me... and Agent I-82B!"

Samus chuckled as she took the flowers. "Thats very kind of you, thank you." She put two of the flower bunches on the graves, and held the third.

"It is a pleasure to make someone happy! - the marine replied - And I, as a representative of the Federation as whole, apologies for Agent I-82B's behaviour. We investigated and discovered he was... taking a vacation! I know, that's quite... embarassing! Despite his contribution to your present, we will deal with him once we will clean this planet up. We are sorry".
Yes, he was thinking, she liked it! One step closer from Zero to Hero!

Houston looked at the tail of Ridley and the claws. He picked up the tail and walked away, leaving the claws for Samus' use.

"Then please inform your superiors to leave this part of K-2L alone, the part that was ruined from the Space Pirate attack. I wish this place to serve as a reminder for the Space Pirates, and for me." Samus replied, standing. "And there's no reason to get angry at I-82B. He actually assisted us."

"Reluctantly, yes." Thoth walked toward Ridley's body, it reeking of dung. He raised his PED.

Houston approached Thoth.
"Let me help rid this former paradise of this... scourge."
Houston raised his cannon and began firing Charge Shots.

Bowing his head, the marine answered: "I'll see what I can do, Miss Aran!"
The marine slowly raised his hand: "While I can comprehend your desire to destroy Ridley's body, I am forced to ask you not to destroy this corpse, for it is proprerty of the Galactic Federation!"

"And what will the Federation do with his body?" Samus asked, putting her free hand on her hip.
