Taking the fight to the pirates.

In the midst of the battle pirate commandos join the frey, each one challenging each of the members of the group. Hiraito gladly accepting changes his arm to cannon form. "Come on tough guy, let's see what you've got." he says. The commando takes aim and fires at Hiraito, him dodging them just barely. They had a lot better aim than the regular pirates, that's for sure. Hiraito charges his plasma beam and runs towards the firing commando, his plasma claw ready to strike. He gets hit a few times, but that didn't stop him, he leaps into the air at the commando and fires his charged shot at it helmet. The impact of the shot knocked the commando off balance and Hiraito seized the opportunity to jam his plasma claw into the small space on the neck that was barely showing that hdidn't have phazite armor. The commando let out a cry of pain before falling silent. "Heh, not tough enough pal." he says.

A pirate commando looks at Argos.
"Eh? You want to fight me?! BRING IT!"
Argos charges in, his music playing. He activates hypermode.
"If anything could ever be this good again..."
He fires a spreaded charge shot (like Samus' charge shot in Corruption)
"The only thing I'll ever ask of you..."
The pirate dodges and shoots him down.
"Gotta promise not to stop when I say when...."
Argos kills him with a shot to the face.
"She sang..."

Samus stopped fighting as she watched the two unleash hell on the commandos, and quickly went to her X-ray visor. Homing in on some Space Pirates, she shot a certain area, and being sniped, the Pirates crumpled. "looks like you guys are having more fun than me!"

Exalyn woke up,he found himself in unfamiliar territory staring up at the face of his dreaded enemy...Weavel,But something was wrong with him,He had a crack on his Helmet."You have a lot to answer for,Alimbic,You did this to me".Weavel took off his helmet to reveal a grotesque,twisted face."You foiled my plans to take over vho and now you insult me by coming here and then came the rest of your lackeys,But not everything is bad news,We have created a new war weapon that can change the tide of almost any battle,We used the red phazon from tallon IV and combined it with phazite,Our new prototype was used on you to see if it worked and it did.Now then where is my intercom...aha here it is"Said Weavel.he spoke through the intercom and his voice was projected on speakers."Enemies of the space pirates,today your day of reckoning has begun,surrender now or we will destroy you"

Thoth adjusted his sight according to the dust caused by the collapse of a large wall outside of the central space pirate base. He pulled an MTD from his gun bit set, and turned most of it to nitrogen, allowing him to reset his vision. He jumped into the space pirate base.

"Thoth says he broke in at... These coordinates." Cliodna sent the coordinates for Shasta's HMD's computer to decipher.
Shasta pulled the helmet over his head, powered by bluetooth connected to neural matter and a hard drive in his pocket.
"Rock and roll. Have you told him they took out the ship yet?"
"Yes."

Hiraito followed Thoth as he went into the pirate base. He was ready for more ass kickin'.

Just exiting from travel to the pirate homeworld entered the Megathron Battleship. "We have arived at the Space Pirate Homeworld sir." says one of the pilots. "Very good. I'm sure they may need ground support. Bring the ship into the atmosphere. Raise the shields and activate the hazard shields once we are in the atmosphere." says Captain James Charon. "Yes sir." says the crew. The Megathron enters the planets atmosphere slowly and raises it's hazard shields once it was within the atmosphere. "Sir, we have a visual on the ground battle. A group of bounty hunters including Samus is taking on the pirates." reports a crew member. "I see. They have things under control for the most part from what I can tell. Keep the ship steady and await further orders." says Captain James Charon. "Yes sir." they reply.

Shasta and Clio approached the hole, then ducked in, hoping to catch up with Thoth and Hiraito. They entered the space pirate base, onto a balcony, where Thoth was pressed against a wall, undetected by the space pirates below. Shasta ducked into a crevice, and Clio hugged the ground. Shasta wondered where Hiraito went; he had detected his heat signature earlier, following Thoth into the base. It's possible he snuck past the space pirates, but Shasta had no clue.

Hiraito had snuck his way next to the room filled with space pirates. He says to his suit, "Full Salvo mode." Missile Full Salvo Mode On. He readies a detonator and messages to the others, "I'm going in hot guys, cover me." He takes a deep breath before jumping into the room unloading missiles one right after another, taking down a huge portion of the pirates in the room.

James was watching them file into the pirate building. Hmm... not the choice I would have made. But I guess it would work since they are after all bounty hunters. I'm getting envigorated just by watching the battle. "Assemble a strike team. I'm going down there myself. Hold her steady while I'm gone. Await futher orders until I return." says James. "Roger that sir." replies the crew. James walks into his chamber and walks into a small room. There, machinery begins to operate and parts of his suit are put on him. It takes about a minute for it to finish all but the helmet, which he puts on himself. By then, a strike team was put together and they met him in the docking bay. "Alright men, we're going to help these bounty hunters finish what they started. I hope you're prepared to give everything, cause you're going to need it. This is the pirates homeworld, so stay sharp and listen to my orders, and you will pull out of here in one piece. Now let's get down there and kick some pirate ass!" says James to the troopers. The strike team all cheer for his speach.

Argos follows in Kilepura, defending him. Argos is shot, however, and now a hole appears in his shoulder of the suit.
"Dammit!!"

"There!" Thoth pointed to him, then leaned over to cover him.

Shasta wiped his brow. "And there's Argos. I think he got shot..."

"We should help him," Thoth looked down.

"Naw, can't we do what we did with him last time? He lived through that!"

Samus saw the damage and unleashed a barrage of missiles and Nova Shots. Then, using her grapple, she sent some Pirate flying. Hearing a familiar buzz-like noise, she groaned. A large group of Advanced Aerotroopers flew up, firing on the group. "These guys are really annoying." She rolled, dodging their fire.

Hiraito throws the detonator and shots it with a missile as it was right in between two pirates troopers, causing it to explode and clear another portion of the room of pirates.

James and his strike team assembled into the drop ship and landed near the battlefield. Exiting the ship James sees a group of advanced aerotroopers firing on the group of hunters. "Leave the aerotroopers to the bounty hunters and myself. You create a defensive perimitter by that hole the other hunter entered. We want to make sure they don't have to come out to fight off more pirates. I'll join up with you after I help the hunters out here." says James. "Roger that sir." the teaa replied, and were one their way to the hole that the other half of the group went into. Now taking aim at the aerotroopers with his cannon, he gets a lock on the main part of the jetpacks of the aerotroopers. With a quick hold in his breth he takes three shots, all three making their mark and destroying the jetpacks of the three he had shot at.

Samus stopped shooting as she watched James. "Looks like someone else had joined the party. He brought friends to." Samus ran up to him. "Why do i have the feeling you're a part of the Federation. Am I assuming correctly?"

The OTHER James, Argos in this case, had since crawled to better cover and was behind it. He grabbed a sealant, a small device that stopped bleeding and slightly sped the healing process, and jabbed it into the wound. It expanded to fit the size of the hole, and he got up. He looked at the other troops that just got dropped off. The name label on the leader was also James. Argos ran over to him, as he was taking on Aerotroops, and helped him.
"Who are you?"

They had pretty much cleared the room of any trace of living pirates. Hiraito turns to the others and says, "Thanks for covering me guys."

Introducing himself to both Samus and Argos, "I am Captain James Charon, captain of the Megathron Battleship of the Galactic Federation Fleet. And, hold on for one second..." He takes aim at one remaining advanced aerotrooper and snipes it right between the eyes. "Sorry about that. Anyway, I was sent here to overlook the assault on the Space Pirate homeworld. As I can see you had it mostly under control. I came in for support. And you must be Samus Aran, I have heard much about you. And I'm sorry to say I don't know you, sir?" he says to them.

"Captain, you say?"
Argos does a military salute to the captain.
"I'm Sergeant James Argos, reporting for duty. As I can see, you're with the PEDs."

Samus watched the two, and felt out of place. "Well then, since you seem to get along, I'll be killing more Pirates if you need me." Since she was so widely known, she really never bothered to introduce herself.

James salutes and withdraws saying, "Good to have you Argos. And yes, I brought in a strike team to keep any pirates from entering that clearing." he says.

"Measure this for me..." Shasta asked one of the two machines behind him, he wasn't sure which. Thoth stepped forward and shined a laser directly downward.

"About 30 feet. Are you planning on jumping down?"

"I might climb a few feet first..."

"Sweet. They're mad enough as it is, though. I destroyed one of their precious little Harvester Drones."
Argos turns to Hiraito.
"Where to?"

Hiraito replies with, "I'm planning on sticking with the group here. What are your plans?"

(OOC: Charon is outside while Hiraito is inside FYI.)

"I'm also staying with the group..." Thoth jumped down.

Shasta shook his head. "I'm going to try taking out some generators that may be obstructing your guys' paths."

"Captain, what are your orders?"
"While the others are inside, we'll cover 'em."
"Yes sir."
Argos stands post just inside the main door, as Charon does the same.

Samus began to slaughter more Space Pirates. It seemed that this whole thing was going to be much easier than she had thought at first.

Shasta frowned. The place seemed like a maze. No... a Labyrinth. Something shook him from the inside. Of course, despite this, he went on. He consulted a map, finding the direction of the generator. He had stolen the map from the space pirates' main database, which was near where they entered. Lately, after an encounter with land mines and soggy oyster crackers, Shasta had found it extremely hard to do actual fighting, so he normally resorted to things such as this, although he could hold up just fine, just in case...
